Our Services
We remove the guesswork from the decision making process and replace the uncertainty with experience, the latest agricultural data, and quantitative analysis.
Our program offers the grower a two step, comprehensive plan stretching over a 12 month period involving two 6 month cycles. These programs are enhanced by individual customization, electronic data transference, and personal attention given to the grower.
Agri-Technologies, Inc. Two-Step Program
Step One
Production-Management Planning
Production Management Planning (PMP) is our "out-of-season program" portion. This program involves the planning and preparation of the phases to be implemented during the growing season. The PMP includes:
-
Soil Sampling
-
Nematode Sampling
-
Water Quality Sampling
-
Irrigation Scheduling
-
Fertility Recommendations
-
Crop Production Narratives
-
Fertigation Schedules
-
Fertilizer Requirements Summary
-
Pesticide Recommendations
-
Fertilizer Formulation & Cost Analysis
-
Worker Protection Compliance
Step Two
In-Season Monitoring
The second step is the In-Season Monitoring (ISM). This program is implemented in several different methods depending on the crop we monitor. This step involves field inspections, reporting, and evaluation of crops. The ISM includes:
-
Tissue Monitoring and Reporting
-
Nutritional Trend Evaluation
-
Field Inspection
-
Insect and Weed Recommendations
-
Regular Nutritional Reports
-
Weekly Fertigation Recommendations
-
Weekly Foliar Recommendations
-
Pesticide Activity and Logging
-
Field Activity Records
-
Worker Protection Standard Updates
-
Year-End Summary and Evaluation

Soil Sampling
Soil sampling measures the nutrient contents of your soil. We use those results to create a profitable and environmentally safe program for fertilizer application. We can also help you determine the best use of your water resources for irrigation.
Soil sampling and field inspection assessments help us understand what's in your soil and what isn't but should be. With that information in hand, we can tailor a plan for each region of your field that wastes less and grows more.
Water Sampling
Testing your irrigation water allows us to assess its quality and prevent problems, both preharvest and postharvest, to promote greater production and food safety.
With water resources limited, our sampling services provide you with information about what's in your water, what isn't in your water, and what needs to be added. We sample and analyze both water used for irrigation as well as postharvest processing.
Irrigation
A sound and proven irrigation control strategy for your crops ensures the most environmentally conscious use of water resources and maximizes growth potential. With our years of experience and database of soil and water samples, we use that knowledge in planning your irrigation schedules and locations throughout your crop.
When coupled with regular field inspection, we can make adjustments to the irrigation schedule that will minimize usage while maximizing yields.
Fertilizer
Fertilizer application selection is crucial to the growth and vitality of your crops. Planned delivery using our sampling results helps to ensure the greatest profit margin. Fertilizers have become complex chemical compounds that deliver specific and targeted results.
New fertilizers are coming to market each year. Our staff will use your soil and water analysis results, along with the fertilizers available to our market, to determine the best products and amounts to apply to your crops. Each field and each crop are different. We will help you make the best informed decision possible.
Field Inspection
Field inspection ensures all products and practices currently comply with local, state, and federal regulations. We use sampling and testing to assess your compliance.
Field inspection before planting, during the growth cycle, and after harvest will give you a baseline of information that can be updated and assessed annually to provide the greatest profit margin and largest yields for each field you utilize. Inspections in various regions of each field ensures proper irrigation and fertilizer application.
